How do you help us individualise our ceremony?
Through my contact with you I get to know you. In our conversations I learn more about your life journey, your hopes and dreams. This helps me shape your ceremony so that it is personalised and unique.
I meet with you and communicate by phone or e-mails as often as is needed prior to the ceremony to discuss your needs and ideas.
I provide you with drafts of the ceremony as it is being developed to gain your feedback and input.
I provide booklets and offer suggestions for you to consider that add that special personalised touch to your ceremony, especially for vows, readings and music.
I encourage the inclusion of traditions and customs into ceremonies.
I conduct a rehearsal close to your special day.
When we are meeting with the celebrant to arrange our marriage what do I need to bring to the first meeting?
To complete the Notice Of Intended Marriage you need to bring:
1. Your birth certificates
2. A death certificate if your previous partner has died
3. Divorce papers if you have been married before.
Do we have to have a wedding rehearsal?
It is strongly advised that you do to make sure everyone in the wedding party is familiar with what will happen on the wedding day. My experience has shown that the rehearsal helps couples to feel much more relaxed on their special day.
Will you travel to both country and city areas to conduct weddings?
Yes I am very happy to officiate at the location of your choice for your special day.
Do you provide a sound system for ceremonies?
Yes this is part of the service
Can we write our own vows?
Yes you can. You can individualise your vows to express your love and to show your commitment to your partner.
What if I am very nervous on my special day?
I am there to help you enjoy the special moments of your ceremony. I will prompt you and encourage you all the way!
